Brain stroke -Bilateral Frontal & Putamen regions with bilateral
optic nerve atrophy with Hypertension
A 49-year-old male patient presented with a history of hypertension for the past 5 years. He had a brain stroke in 2023. Bilateral basifrontal and bilateral Putamen areas were affected. MRI of orbits showed bilateral optic nerve atrophy. Currently Medical management & physiotherapy is going on in Kenya. He and his wife wish to go for stem cell therapy for his problem.

Stem cell therapy
Stem cells were infused through Intrathecal, Intravenous & amp; Intramuscular routes.
The patient was clinically examined and thoroughly investigated and informed written consent taken. He was taken to OT for a Stem cell procedure. The patient was given I/v fluid and other supportive medication during the hospital stay. Dietician Consult, Occupational therapy, and Psychologist consult were taken during the course of treatment in the hospital. Post-procedure was uneventful (no headache or vomiting). At the time of discharge, he is clinically stable.
