SLAP (superior labrum anterior to posterior lesion ) Right shoulder along with OA both knee joints
A 35-year-old male patient presented with a history of pain in the right shoulder for 20 years along with pain in both knee joints for 2 years. Diagnosis/management is going on in consultation with an Orthopaedic surgeon at Tokyo Sports & Orthopaedic Clinic in Tokyo, Japan. Currently conservative management & Physiotherapy is going on in Japan. The patient wishes to go for stem cell therapy for his problem.
Not a known Diabetic or Hypertensive
Stem cell therapy
Stem cells were infused through Intravenous and Intra-articular (right shoulder, right knee joint & left knee joint ) routes.
The patient was clinically examined and thoroughly investigated and informed written consent taken. He was taken to OT for a Stem cell procedure. The patient was given I/V fluid and other supportive medication during the hospital stay. Dietary & amp; Physiotherapy consultations was taken during the course of stay in hospital . Post-procedure was uneventful. At the time of discharge, he is clinically stable.
