Twenty-four-year-old Osaka, Japan, native Akari used to enjoy painting colorful cityscapes. Yet, she realized that at age 19, dark spots started creeping into her central vision and made her eyes see things in distortions. “All hopes for my career as an artist seem gone when once I was diagnosed with Stargardt’s disease,” she said. Her years of desperate searching for cures ended after finding Stem Cell Care India, whose advanced stem cell treatment has filled her life with new hope.
Encouraged by success stories, she took a flight to India with her father; Akari received a comprehensive assessment and a personalized treatment plan from the compassionate staff at SCCI. Akari’s vision started to improve after the stem cell treatment. She regained her love for painting again because she could now see finer details.
Akari, still in Osaka, urges people faced with similar difficulties to read her story of hope and resilience, to come and learn about the latest treatments, and she now continues her painting hobby with renewed hope, grateful for the life-changing care she received at Stem Cell Care India.
