CHIEF COMPLAINT: c/o dimness of central vision in both eye & night blindness due to Stargardts Disease. She is known case of Stargardts Disease since 2016. Central vision in both eyes has diminished compared to peripheral vision (VF: 3/60 & 3/60). She has got only hand movement in both eye close to face and only hand movement. In peripheral vision, she can sense colour and light perceptions. She feels blind spots in her central vision of both eyes. OCT reports shows advanced cone rod dystrophy in both eyes.

PRESENTING ILLNESS: A 32 years old female presented with history of night blindness since last few years. She has got some vision esp. peripheral vision in both eyes and her central vision is lost as of now. She has complaints of dimness in vision in both eyes in night time and in darkness. Conservative medicinal treatment is going on. Patient overall health is good. She can see moving hands from 1 meter long in daylight but can’t recognize how many hands are there. Since 2006, his daylight vision also got affected along with night blindness. Now Patient has come for getting her Stargardts Disease treatment by experimental stem cell therapy. She has been explained about status of stem cell therapy in India about experimental nature & she has agreed voluntarily to undergo this experimental stem cell therapy.

Written informed consent was taken and the same has been explained in her language along with her attendant (patient’s Father).
